Pilots need an account and complete contact details. Before accepting, the owner can review the pilot profile, licence and medical information, uploaded documents, ratings, and any missing-document warnings.
The owner chooses which payment methods to accept. The pilot pays by card, bank transfer, cash or any of the other available payment methods. The method mostly depends on your country. Processing fees for credit card payments are deducted from the amount.
No mandatory platform fee is added. Pilots can voluntarily support GetAGlider during checkout, and owners can also configure an optional contribution. Both are optional.
Yes. Owners can approve or decline requests, set booking rules such as minimum rental days and minimum pilot hours, and choose between request-based booking and instant booking where eligible.
Each listing shows the owner's insurance and deposit settings. For bookings with a deposit, GetAGlider attempts a separate deposit pre-authorisation; the owner can release it or capture an amount from the booking page. For bank transfer or cash payments, deposit handling is agreed directly with the owner.
GetAGlider prepares the booking page, contract, calendar entry, and handover/return checklist. Both parties can sign the contract online, and the owner can customise the checklist and contract terms for the glider.
The listing shows the home airfield and planned positions of the glider. You can fly anywhere you want.
